A bed, a meal and a dry room for walkers on Scotland's coast-to-coast trail.
The Southern Upland Way, one of Scotland's Great Trails, runs coast to coast from Portpatrick on the Irish Sea to Cockburnspath on the North Sea, and passes through New Luce.
From the west, the trail comes through Castle Kennedy before reaching the village. Heading east, it climbs over open moorland and forest towards Bargrennan and Galloway Forest Park, passing the Laggangarn standing stones.
